Hunger Relief
Helping the Hungry in Beirut
Lebanon currently faces a multitude of national crises ravaging whole communities led to a severe inaccessibility and shortage of food. Economic collapse and COVID-19 plunged an already-strained nation into further poverty and desperation.
Vulnerable populations are suffering from malnutrition and hunger as necessities such as baby formula and staple foods are not only difficult to come by, but unaffordable for so many. Many families have to forgo meals due to skyrocketing prices, the distribution of meal kits help curb the hunger.
In 2021 alone, we donated over 1000 food parcels to hungry families in Beirut, Jounieh, Jbeil, and Tripoli. In December we continued to work alongside Lebanese nonprofit organizations to distribute 500 rations of food to people in need.
