Shipment Spotlight

  • 50,000 Feminine Hygiene Products

In February 2024, DTCare, in partnership with several US-based organizations, sent a 40-foot container loaded with over 50,000 feminine hygiene products, 1,000+ medical supplies, and 6,000 face shields to Ukraine. The donation is intended to help Ukrainians living in red zones, isolated towns, and those on the front lines, including orphaned children and injured veterans. This is the third successful shipment made by DTCare under Ukraine's new humanitarian delivery customs reporting procedure.

  • Medical Supplies from Germany to Ternopil

DTCare and logistics partners sent over 12,000 face masks, 1,000 syringes, 10,000 needles, 2,000 disposable gloves, and more to assist the TMNU Hospital in Ternopil. DTCare works with international partners, Ukraine-based NGOs, and community groups to collect and transport life-saving supplies to healthcare facilities like TMNU. Despite severe delays at the Polish-Ukrainian border due to strikes, we could transport this critically needed shipment from Germany to Ukraine.

  • 6,000+ Plush Toys with Play It Forward

DTCare's plush toy drive, in partnership with Play It Forward Pittsburgh, collected over 6,000 plush toys in one week. They organized a volunteer event to pack and ship the plush toys to Mykolaiv, Ukraine, for children in need. The plush toys were distributed to DTCare's Creative Arts Therapy Center, families, orphanages, and child healthcare facilities. The toys are beneficial in play therapy, providing comfort and a healthy medium for self-expression to cope and heal from severe trauma.

  • 1,196 Pairs of Shoes from the UK to Ukraine

DTCare and Sal's Shoes partnered to transport 1,196 pairs of children's winter shoes from the UK to Ukraine. The shoes were donated as part of DTCare's end-of-year holiday shoebox drive. They were distributed to children in need in newly liberated towns, orphanages, family-style children's homes, and families to help them stay warm during the cold winter. DTCare aims to provide each child with a shoebox containing shoes, winter items, and a small toy at the beneficiary organizations they support.
