  • DTCare is a U.S. 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity founded in 2019 to address crises and expand humanitarian operations across the globe. We are a skilled and efficient team that takes pride in responding quickly to emergencies from the ground up, thus allowing our operations and regional outlets to increase as need dictates. Our team consists of individuals from diverse backgrounds with varying nationalities, cultures, and areas of expertise. We all bring our unique talents and skills to the table to make a difference within and beyond the organization. Our shared mission is to leave the world a better place than we found it. Not only are we highly educated and experienced, but we also work well together and thrive under pressure, ensuring that support and aid reach the most vulnerable populations in the regions we serve.

  • DTCare strives to alleviate suffering and help vulnerable communities across the globe, with our primary initiatives focused in Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine, Lebanon, Panama, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. We do this by designing and implementing targeted and customized programs to meet the needs of at-risk groups as they arise. DTCare serves the needs of the communities we seek to help through initiatives that facilitate and promote accessible education, aiding communities in crisis with support and aid, providing mental health services for those dealing with trauma, and giving safety and aid for animals, and more. Because we build our operations around needs that arise across the globe, you’ll often see us involved in something new! Connect with DTCare on social media to follow along with our work.

How to make financial contributions to DTCare:

Online donations to DTCare are secure through our website or PayPal. Fundraising for DTCare:

When our community helps fundraise for DTCare causes across the globe, we not only benefit from receiving much-needed funds that go towards supporting our programs, but we are also able to then direct the time and resources we would have spent on raising funds to other functions we need to perform. When you help us fundraise, your community also hears and learns about us, so you are not just supporting DTCare financially but spreading the word about us as well. There are various ways to fundraise for DTCare, including fundraising for DTCare on Facebook, setting up a fundraising campaign through PayPal, arranging an in-person fundraising event, or corporate donation matching campaigns. If you are interested in fundraising for DTCare, please email us at info@dtcare.org to explore the best ways that would work for you or your organization.

    Volunteering at DTCare:

DTCare holds volunteer events that typically involve packing hygiene kits, sorting and cataloging humanitarian goods donations, or loading humanitarian shipments. The more hands ob deck, the more we get done! Our volunteer events are 2-4 hours long, and complimentary refreshments and lunch are provided during each event. We could also use some extra help in the office with functions such as outreach, grant writing, and research. To learn more about our volunteer events or inquire about other ways to volunteer, please email us at info@dtcare.org.

    Creating awareness about DTCare:

We are always eager to spread the word about what we do! Some ways you can help us create awareness include following DTCare on social media and engaging with our posts, whether through likes, comments, or shares, signing up for the DTCare newsletter and sharing our updates with anyone and everyone in your community that might be interested in getting involved, participating in DTCare’s online and in-person fundraisers, and helping us distribute campaign promotional materials in your community. Contact us by emailing info@dtcare.org for more details on how you can help DTCare spread the word.

  • Yes—we love to collaborate! Meaningful collaboration powers much of our efforts worldwide, enabling us to make a bigger and more lasting impact in the communities we affect. Because DTCare operates in many regions globally with vastly different and fluctuating needs, we are always open to working with organizations and groups that propel our mission of alleviating suffering and supporting vulnerable communities forward.

Organizations typically aid our mission through a company donation matching program or donating goods, but there are so many different ways your organization could help DTCare, so please email us at info@dtcare.org if your organization is interested in collaborating with DTCare.

  • DTCare's name stems from our founder's father, Durard Timothy Gruelle, whose initials "DT" are used as a tribute. Timothy "Tim" Gruelle inspired his son, Marco Gruelle, to pursue a career in shipping and logistics. Through his work, Marco discovered the potential to assist communities in times of crisis by utilizing his expertise to send emergency and humanitarian supplies to those in need. This ultimately led to the establishment of DTCare by Marco Gruelle and the board.
